One Day Hands-on Workshop on LTSpice Simulation Software
A one-day workshop on LTspice Simulation Software was successfully conducted at A.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mangaluru, with the objective of introducing participants to electronic circuit simulation and analysis using LTspice. The workshop aimed to enhance students' understanding of circuit design, simulation techniques, and practical implementation of electronic concepts.
The session began with an introduction to LTspice, highlighting its importance in designing and analyzing analog and digital electronic circuits. Participants were familiarized with the LTspice user interface, component library, schematic creation, and simulation setup procedures. The resource person explained various simulation techniques, including DC Analysis, AC Analysis, Transient Analysis, and Frequency Response Analysis.
During the hands-on session, students designed and simulated basic electronic circuits using Gates, resistor networks, diode circuits, rectifiers, amplifiers, and MOSFET-based switching circuits. Participants learned how to observe voltage and current waveforms, analyze circuit behavior, and troubleshoot design issues using simulation tools. Practical demonstrations helped bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world
circuit applications.
