The ceremony for the Best PhD Thesis Award 2025 of the IEEE Photonics Society Italy Chapter will beheld on 17 June 2026 in a special session of the Italian Conference of Optics and Photonics (ICOP) that will be held in L'Aquila from 15 to 17 June 2026.
The winner of the 2025 Award is Daniele Orsuti, with the thesis “Advanced Coherent Systems for High-Performance Fiber-Optic Communications and Distributed Acoustic Sensing”, Università degli Studi di Padova, Ph.D. Course in Information Engineering: Information and Communications Technology, XXXVII Cycle.
