Coding becomes playtime
The event "Coding becomes playtime: Kids unleash creativity with Scratch" was an educational and interactive workshop designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of programming through the Scratch platform. The session was supervised by Mr. Mohamed Elleuche, who guided the participants through a hands-on learning experience focused on creativity and logical thinking.
The workshop began with an introduction to Scratch and its block-based programming environment, explaining how basic programming concepts can be implemented in a visual and intuitive way. Participants then engaged in a practical activity where they developed a traffic light simulation project (red, green, and orange lights), including timing control, conditional behavior, and automatic switching using loop structures (While Loop concept).
The children demonstrated strong engagement and enthusiasm throughout the session, successfully applying the concepts learned during the workshop.
