Selected Topics in Signal and MAC Protocols for next generation Wireless Communications Networks
Extensive recent research has targeted advanced signaling and MAC-layer designs to enhance the resilience, connectivity, and QoS of next-generation wireless networks. Optimizing these architectures relies on the derivation of fundamental performance metrics, including error rate, outage probability, and ergodic capacity. This presentation presents novel signal design with superior performance and reviews existing performance analysis criteria, highlighting their limitations, and introduces novel analytical frameworks that pave the way for future research paradigms.
