Human-Centered 6G: Designing Intelligent Networks for Trust, Agency, and Societal Value
IEEE ComSoc Italy Chapter Distinguished Lecture Tour
Speaker: Dr. Neeli Prasad (IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer)
Title of Talk: Human-Centered 6G: Designing Intelligent Networks for Trust, Agency, and Societal Value
Abstract: As the world moves toward 6G, the central question is no longer only how to build faster and more autonomous networks. The deeper question is what kind of digital society these networks are being designed to serve. 6G will connect people, machines, infrastructures, data, and intelligent systems at unprecedented scale, but its success will depend on whether it strengthens trust, protects human agency, and creates measurable societal value.
