About the Event
IEEE WIE Week 2026 is a week-long initiative inspired by the IEEE Women in Engineering theme, "Technology with Purpose: Innovate Responsibly, Inspire Globally, Lead with Integrity." The event aims to celebrate innovation, leadership, and the transformative role of technology in society while encouraging students to become responsible engineers and changemakers.
Designed around the official IEEE WIE 2026 focus areas—Responsible & Ethical Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, STEM Leadership & Empowerment, Digital Inclusion & Community Impact, and Knowledge Sharing & Professional Development—the event combines engaging content, expert talks, and community outreach to create a meaningful and impactful experience.
Week 1: Knowledge & Awareness Campaign

Day 1: Women Who Changed Engineering
