IEEE Sports 2026
The IEEE Sports Tournaments 2026 organized by the IEEE Tafila Technical University Student Branch as a national sports event that brought together IEEE Student Branches from universities across Jordan. Held on 25 July 2026 at the Tafila Technical University Sports Complex, the tournament aimed to strengthen collaboration, communication, and networking among IEEE student members through a competitive yet enjoyable sporting environment.
The primary objectives of the event were to promote sportsmanship, encourage healthy competition, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and create meaningful connections between students from different universities. Beyond the competitions, the tournament served as a platform for participants to exchange experiences, build friendships, and reinforce the values of professionalism, integrity, and collaboration that IEEE represents.
Inspired by the classic Pac-Man arcade game. The visual identity, promotional campaign, and event branding reflected the concepts of strategy, perseverance, and overcoming challenges, creating an engaging experience for both participants and spectators.
The tournament featured competitions in Football⚽, Basketball🏀, Badminton🏸, Table Tennis🏓, and Chess♟, attracting participants from more than 18 universities across Jordan, with an expected attendance of 250–300 participants and visitors. Participation was exclusively available to IEEE members.
The event successfully created an engaging environment where students demonstrated leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and teamwork while representing their universities.
Overall, IEEE Sports Tournaments 2026 successfully combined athletics, leadership, and community engagement, providing students with a memorable experience while strengthening the connections between IEEE Student Branches throughout Jordan.
