STEM Culture Fostering Program: EngineerXplore@UniMAP
The " STEM Culture Fostering Program: EngineerXplore@UniMAP " was successfully conducted on June 15th, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the UniMAP Pauh Putra Campus. It was organized by the Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology (FKTEN) UniMAP & IEEE Sensors & Nanotechnology Joint Council (Malaysia Chapter) in collaboration with the PIBG of Sekolah Menengah Sains Sultan Abdul Halim (SMSAH). The initiative aimed to broaden the students' horizons regarding diverse engineering branches, ensuring they do not limit their understanding to the electronics discipline alone. The immersive program featured five core components: the "STEM Career Navigator" motivation and post-SPM pathways session, a "Robotics Revolution" hands-on automation experience at the FKTE Robotic Lab, a high-tech Cleanroom Technology Exposure tour at FKTEN, interactive Hands-on STEM Stations (exploring micro:bit, Snap Circuits, Pikabot and etc), and an Integrated Design Project (IDP) Knowledge Transfer Programme where FKTEN undergraduates presented their engineering innovations directly to the school students.
