From AI-RAN to Cognitive Infrastructure: Agentic AI, Digital Twins, and Autonomous 6G Networks

Special Presentation by Bhaskara Raju Rallabandi (Invences Inc., USA)

Hosted by the Future Networks Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) Working Group

Date/Time: Thursday, 16 July 2026 @ 12:00 UTC (7 AM CDT)

Topic:

From AI-RAN to Cognitive Infrastructure: Agentic AI, Digital Twins, and Autonomous 6G Networks

Abstract:

AI-RAN represents a transformational shift from AI-assisted radio optimization to fully autonomous, AI-native wireless infrastructure. This presentation explores how Agentic AI, Digital Twins, observability, cloud-native architectures, and Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) will enable self-learning, self-optimizing, and self-healing 6G networks. The session will discuss the convergence of AI-RAN, edge cloud, enterprise private networks, Open RAN, NTN, and intelligent infrastructure while identifying key research challenges, industry collaboration opportunities, and roadmap priorities. The presentation will also outline steps to help foster collaboration among operators, OEMs, cloud providers, AI companies, the academia, and standards development organizations to accelerate the development and deployment of AI-native wireless systems.

Speaker:
