The final day of Solar Minds Junior brings together everything participants have learned throughout the workshop, focusing on one of the most important aspects of renewable energy: energy storage and responsible energy management. The day begins with a recap of the previous sessions, followed by an engaging discussion that reinforces key concepts and prepares participants for the final challenge.

Participants are introduced to the fundamentals of energy storage, exploring why batteries and other storage systems are essential for ensuring a reliable supply of renewable energy when sunlight is unavailable. Through simple demonstrations and interactive explanations, they discover how solar energy can be captured, stored, and distributed efficiently to meet the needs of homes and communities.

After a short break, participants take part in the "Power a Community" Challenge, a collaborative team activity where they are tasked with managing a limited amount of solar energy to support a model community. Working together, they analyze different energy demands, prioritize essential services, and make strategic decisions on how to distribute available power in the most efficient and sustainable way. This challenge introduces real-world concepts such as energy planning, resource allocation, and sustainable decision-making while encouraging teamwork, communication, and critical thinking.

The workshop concludes with a reflection on the three-day journey, celebrating the participants' achievements and highlighting the importance of innovation, collaboration, and renewable energy in building a more sustainable future. By the end of the program, participants leave with a solid foundation in solar energy concepts, hands-on engineering experience, and the inspiration to become the next generation of clean energy innovators.
