Event Description – Orientation Fall 2026
Orientation Fall 2026 is IEEE WIE ITU Student Branch's annual membership drive, organized to introduce newly admitted students to the society and its mission of empowering women in engineering, technology, and innovation. The event will be held on 1 September 2026 at the ITU Main Campus from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Throughout the day, IEEE WIE will host an interactive and visually engaging promotional stall featuring society branding, informational material, and promotional items designed to attract and engage incoming students. Executive members will interact with visitors, introduce them to IEEE WIE's vision, flagship initiatives, technical and professional development opportunities, leadership roles, and the benefits of becoming an active member.
The stall will serve as a platform for networking, answering queries, sharing past achievements, and encouraging students to become part of a community dedicated to fostering innovation, leadership, and inclusivity in STEM. The event aims to increase awareness of IEEE WIE, recruit enthusiastic new members, and build meaningful connections with the incoming Fall 2026 student cohort.
