Biography:
Biography: Hong Li (S'07-M'09-SM'18) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan, China, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, and FernUniversitat in Hagen, Hagen, Germany, in 2002, 2005, and 2009, respectively. She is currently the executive vice-dean and a full professor with the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. She is the Distinguished Young Scholar and Excellent Youth Scholar of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Delta Young Scholar. She has hosted five projects granted by National Natural Science Foundation China. She has published 2 monographs, 106 journal papers, and 89 conference papers. She has also holds 53 invention patents as the first inventor. Her research interests include electromagnetic compatibility of power electronic systems, large-scale power electronic system modeling and stability analysis, and the application of AI in power electronics.
Prof. Li is an IEEE PELS Regional Distinguished Lecturers, an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and the IEEE Open Journal of Industrial Electronics Society, an Associate Editor of the Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering, an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Power Supply. She is the IEEE PELS member-at-large from 2023 to 2025, an IEEE Transportation Technologies Award Committee Member from 2021-2023, the Vice Chair of IEEE PELS Membership Committee-China (MCC) and the chair of WiE-IEEE PELS MCC. She was also the chair of the women scientists working committee, CPSS, from 2019-2022, and is the Chair of Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialized Committee in China Power Supply Society (CPSS) from 2022.
