Track on Women and Energy
A track organized by the Women in Engineering France Section Affinity Group will be a side event of the IEEE ENERGYCON 2026 conference organized in Paris on October 27-29, 2026 (https://2026.ieee-energycon.org/side-events/).
It will be dedicated to Energy related topics and most of the participants have already published papers on the topic of “Women’s Agency, Empowerment, and Participation in Energy Systems” which will be the subject of the discussions.
The participants will discuss how women participate in energy transitions as users, leaders, cooperative members, or decision-makers, and how gender norms shape their roles.
The track will consist of two parts of of one hour and a half: a panel and a special session, separated by a coffee break.
All the France Section Affinity Group members will be welcome to attend it.
