INAUGRATION OF IEEE CEDA STUDENT CHAPTER AND TECHTALK
The inauguration ceremony of the IEEE CEDA Student Chapter was successfully organized by the IEEE CEDA Student Chapter in collaboration with the IEEE Bangalore Section, IEEE North Karnataka Subsection, and EC Association at KLE Technological University. The event marked the official launch of the student chapter with the objective of promoting innovation, technical learning, research, and professional development in the domains of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and VLSI.
The programme was graced by distinguished guests from academia and industry, including Mr. Anish Bomson (Territory Manager, Math Works), Dr. Anand Mukhopadhyay (Senior Engineer, Math Works), and Mr. Lakshmanan Balasubramanian (Ex-Technologist, Texas Instruments and Senior Member IEEE). The event was also attended by dignitaries, Heads of Departments, faculty members, IEEE members, and students from the ECE, EEE, and VLSI departments.
The ceremony included the introduction of the IEEE CEDA Student Chapter, badge distribution for the newly inducted office bearers, and interactive sessions with the guests. The inauguration was followed by a technical talk by Mr. Lakshmanan Balasubramanian on “MATLAB API for Other Simulators like Spectre, Xcelium DMS/AMS, and NI Lab VIEW,” which provided students with valuable insights into modern simulation, verification, and system design methodologies used in the semiconductor and VLSI industry.
