The 2026 IEEE Region 9 Women in Engineering Regional Meeting will bring together WIE leaders, Section representatives, Affinity Group Chairs, volunteers, and invited collaborators from across Latin America and the Caribbean.

IEEE Women in Engineering connects, supports, and inspires women worldwide while contributing to their recruitment and retention in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. IEEE WIE actively encourages the participation of all individuals, regardless of gender or background.

This regional meeting will provide a collaborative environment for participants to exchange successful experiences, strengthen their leadership and volunteer management skills, develop high-impact initiatives, and identify opportunities for collaboration among IEEE Sections and WIE Affinity Groups throughout Region 9.

The meeting will be held in coordination with the 2026 IEEE Region 9 Young Professionals Regional Meeting, creating opportunities for joint learning, networking, mentoring, and collaboration between WIE and YP leaders.
