 Title: Head of Program, Biomedical Engineering

 Organization: UWI Mona

 Biography: Dr. Wright is an academic and cancer researcher specializing in prostate cancer mechanisms and translational biomedical technologies. She leads the Biomedical Engineering program at UWI Mona—the only program of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean. In this role, she actively integrates education, research, and industry collaboration, with a dedicated focus on mentoring the next generation of scientists and engineers while driving impactful research with regional and global relevance.

Prakhar Lohiya

 Title: Director of Product Innovation (Bubblepay)

 Organization: SMRT Systems

 Biography: Prakhar is a dynamic product leader who oversees product innovation, engineering, design, and product teams across multiple global regions for Bubblepay. With a proven track record of scaling systems, he built and currently leads a 20–25 person engineering and design organization, established international development capabilities via a new Australian product office, and delivered 80% year-over-year growth in customers and transaction volumes. His notable achievements include launching advanced QR-based payment extensions and spearheading the award-winning Laundromat Owners App, which earned a Silver Award in the NY Product Design Awards.
