DSU Techfest – CELESTAI 2026 is the flagship annual technology festival of Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in collaboration with the Department of Aerospace Engineering (ASE) and the Department of Computer Science & Engineering – Data Science (CSE-DS). The event was conducted from 23rd to 25th April 2026 at the DSU Main Campus, Bengaluru, with the vision of creating a Pan-India platform that brings together students, researchers, academicians, innovators, and industry professionals to promote technological innovation and collaborative learning.
The techfest featured a diverse range of technical competitions and activities, including RoboSoccer, Drone Quest (Skyrift), Multi-Domain Hackathon, UI/UX Challenge, Technical Workshops, International Expert Talks, TechZibition (Project Expo), Poster Presentation, Technical Treasure Hunt, Gaming Competitions, and several innovation-driven events. With an impressive prize pool of over ₹10 Lakhs, CELESTAI 2026 encouraged participants to showcase their technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while addressing real-world engineering challenges.
The event was organized in collaboration with IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (IEEE CEDA), along with other IEEE societies and industry partners, significantly enhancing the technical quality and industry relevance of the program. The collaboration promoted knowledge sharing in areas such as Electronic Design Automation (EDA), VLSI, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Semiconductor Technologies, and Emerging Engineering Applications. Through keynote sessions, expert talks, workshops, and technical competitions, participants gained valuable exposure to current industry trends and advanced technologies.
CELESTAI 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing institutions across India and successfully created an ecosystem of innovation, technical excellence, teamwork, and professional networking. The event provided an excellent platform for aspiring engineers to interact with experts, demonstrate their talents, and develop practical skills essential for future careers in engineering and technology. Overall, DSU Techfest – CELESTAI 2026 was a grand success, fulfilling its objective of inspiring innovation, fostering collaboration, and promoting excellence in engineering education through the valuable support of IEEE CEDA and other collaborating organizations.
