📋 REGION 5 SECTION and CHAPTER ELECTION OVERVIEW

Per IEEE MGA policy, all sections and chapters are required to conduct officer elections in the fall using the IEEE vTools Nominations and Elections platforms. While MGA's suggested timeline formally begins in August, Region 5 strongly encourages you to begin your preparations now. Starting early will give your leadership team ample time to:

  • Identify and engage prospective candidates
  • Complete the nomination process without time pressure
  • Ensure all eligible candidates are properly registered in vTools
  • Meet all MGA deadlines with confidence
