EPS – Opening & IEEE EPS Orientation

This session will officially open the IEEE EPS Summer School and introduce participants to the Electronics Packaging Society's global mission and the electronics packaging roadmap, with a focus on the role PCB design plays within it. Attendees will benefit from a clear grounding in why packaging matters as a growing field, an understanding of IEEE EPS's technical communities and member opportunities, and a roadmap of what to expect across the rest of the summer school. The session will feature welcome remarks from the Chapter Chair, University leadership (VC, DVC Ari, Dean, DRIC, Dr Mary) and the General Chair, an EPS overview from Dr. Godwin Ozor (virtual), and an orientation session led by Allan A Koech.
