IEEE CS Day is organized jointly by CS UnB and the IEEE UnB Student Branch, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the IEEE Computer Society and the 10th anniversary of CS UnB.

The event takes place on Saturday, July 25th, from 9 AM to 5 PM, bringing together around 100 participants, students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts, for a full day of learning, knowledge sharing, and networking.

The day opens with an introduction to CS UnB, the Computer Society, and IEEE UnB, followed by technical talks on Cybersecurity and AWS/cloud computing. After a lunch break, the afternoon features a Coding Dojo and hands-on workshops, plus an additional talk to be confirmed. The event wraps up with a closing session.

Throughout the day, participants will enjoy coffee breaks, event badges, and souvenirs, all part of a celebration that honors decades of community, growth, and innovation in tech.
