Biography:
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Jaffna and recently completed my MSc in Biomedical Engineering. I am about to begin my PhD at Iowa State University, where I will continue my research in biomedical imaging and artificial intelligence. My research interests include Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), medical image analysis, deep learning, and computer vision for healthcare applications. Through my academic journey spanning computer science and biomedical engineering, I have developed a strong passion for applying AI to address real-world healthcare challenges. I enjoy sharing my experiences to inspire students who are interested in research, graduate studies, and careers at the intersection of technology and healthcare.
