The IEEE Iraq Online Arduino Innovation Hackathon 2026 is a three-day virtual technical programme organized by the IEEE Iraq Section Young Professionals Affinity Group to support Iraqi high-school and undergraduate teams developing Arduino-compatible solutions to daily challenges.

The programme includes an orientation on project requirements, Arduino and sensor workshops, idea and feasibility reviews, technical mentoring, prototype-development sessions, troubleshooting clinics, and guidance for preparing a three-minute project video.

Participants may join individually or in teams of up to three students. High-school and undergraduate teams will be supported through separate technical considerations. Each team will receive a unique Team ID for project tracking and submission.

Online hackathon: 5-7 August 2026
Daily live sessions: 7:00-9:00 PM Baghdad time
Registration deadline: 31 July 2026
Iraq internal project submission deadline: 12 August 2026
