Following the successful Phased Array Systems Summer School last year, TU Delft is pleased to announce the next edition of its radar summer school. In 2026, the programme will focus on MIMO Radar Systems.

MIMO radar has attracted significant attention in recent years because of its potential for high-resolution sensing and imaging, accurate target detection, and advanced parameter estimation. Its applications span a wide range of fields, including automotive technology, surveillance, healthcare, and other modern sensing systems.

During the summer school, participants will explore the fundamental principles of MIMO radar systems. The programme will cover antenna arrays, waveform design, signal-processing techniques, and modern radar applications. Lectures will be delivered by leading experts in the field, combining theoretical foundations with insights into current developments and applications. The lectures are complimented by two-days experimental projectwork with actual phased arrays.

The summer school also offers an excellent opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with participants from different countries and professional backgrounds. It is aimed at students, researchers, and engineers who want to broaden or deepen their knowledge of radar and sensing technologies.
