Python for Industrial Data Analytics
Python has become one of the most widely used programming languages for industrial data analysis due to its simplicity, powerful libraries, and extensive applications in automation, manufacturing, energy systems, robotics, and smart industries. This session introduces participants to the fundamentals of Python programming and demonstrates how it can be used to collect, clean, visualize, and analyze industrial data for better decision-making.
Participants will learn how to work with real-world datasets generated from industrial sensors, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, production lines, and control systems. The workshop will cover essential Python libraries such as NumPy for numerical computing, Pandas for data manipulation, Matplotlib and Plotly for data visualization, and Scikit-learn for basic machine learning applications. Practical examples will include predictive maintenance, equipment performance monitoring, quality control, energy consumption analysis, and anomaly detection.
Through hands-on exercises, attendees will gain practical skills in importing datasets, preprocessing data, performing exploratory data analysis, creating interactive dashboards, and developing simple predictive models that support industrial decision-making.
