2026 International Conference on Energy Science and Interdisciplines & IEEE PES China Satellite Technical Committee (SBLC) Annual Conference (ICESI 2026)
With the accelerated transformation of the global energy structure and the advancement of green and low-carbon development goals, the power and energy sector is confronted with unprecedented opportunities and challenges. The large-scale integration of renewable energy, rapid advancement of innovative energy storage technologies, digital transformation of energy systems and extensive application of interdisciplinary technologies are reshaping the landscape of the industry. Meanwhile, emerging technologies including distributed energy, energy-related interdisciplinary subjects, artificial intelligence & machine learning, and blockchain have gradually become mainstream research hotspots, boosting the advancement of energy science.
To build an important platform for academic exchange and research outcome sharing among global peers engaged in energy science, energy engineering and energy-related interdisciplinary fields, the International Conference on Energy Science and Interdisciplines (ICESI 2026) will be held in Guangzhou, China from October 16 to 18, 2026. The annual conference of IEEE PES China Technical Committee for Smart Buildings, Loads and Customer Support Systems will be held concurrently during the event. This conference is co-hosted by South China University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, IEEE PES China Technical Committee for Smart Buildings, Loads and Customer Support Systems, Guangdong Tongwen Tongxue Education Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongqi Tongwen (Xiamen) Research Institute and Zhongda Academic Exchange Research Center, and undertaken by Guangzhou City University of Technology.
The conference adopts diverse activity forms, including keynote speeches, invited presentations, special seminars, parallel thematic discussions, poster exhibitions, as well as the annual meeting of IEEE PES Technical Committee for Smart Buildings, Loads and Customer Support Systems. We sincerely invite experts, scholars and researchers with research interests in energy science, energy engineering and relevant interdisciplinary disciplines to participate in this conference, exchange research experience and insights. Jointly, we will promote in-depth academic exchanges and cross-disciplinary cooperation, drive the high-quality development of the energy industry, and foster a green, low-carbon, highly efficient and economical energy ecosystem.
