The 3rd Conference on New Energy and Optoelectronic Technology
To promote scientific and technological advancement in the fields of new energy and optoelectronics in China, Shihezi University, in collaboration with Kunming University of Science and Technology, Xinjiang University, Xinjiang Physical Society, Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Storage Materials and Technologies of the Production and Construction Corps, South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Southern University of Science and Technology, and the International Society for Optoelectronic Energy, will host the 3rd Conference on New Energy and Optoelectronic Technology in Urumqi, Xinjiang, from August 7 to 9, 2026. The Conference on New Energy and Optoelectronic Technology has successfully held two editions in Kunming. This year’s conference will be hosted in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. As a vital economic, cultural, and technological hub in western China, Xinjiang serves as a key corridor linking Central Asia, South Asia, and Europe under the Belt and Road Initiative, and is also a core region for national efforts in promoting western development and energy strategic transformation. Rich in wind and solar resources and supported by strong industrial policies, Xinjiang is accelerating the construction of national-level new energy demonstration zones, offering extensive application scenarios and development opportunities for optimizing energy structures and fostering integrated innovation in optoelectronic technologies.
The 3rd Conference on New Energy and Optoelectronic Technology will serve as a premier academic gathering for researchers in the field, showcasing the latest advances and achievements in areas such as perovskite solar cells, organic solar cells, thin-film solar cells, fuel cells, lithium/sodium batteries, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), electroluminescent electrochemical cells, photodetectors, lasers, sensors, and thin-film transistors. The conference will also facilitate in-depth discussions on emerging opportunities, challenges, and future directions in these research domains.
The conference will feature various presentation formats including plenary sessions, keynote lectures, invited talks, oral presentations, and poster exhibitions. Several "Outstanding Poster Awards" will be presented with certificates and cash prizes. The organizing committee warmly invites researchers, industry professionals, and overseas scholars engaged in new energy and optoelectronic studies to attend this academic symposium.
