The event is structured as a multi-track technical symposium designed to celebrate IEEE Day while promoting hands-on innovation across different educational levels. The structure consists of:
• Pre-Event Phase: A preparatory technical workshop focused on robot programming to ensure all Sumo Robot contestants reach a baseline technical competency.
• Track 1: Technical Competitions (University Level):
o Sumo Robot Contest: A hardware-based challenge where student teams compete in a specialized arena using autonomous robots.
o Graduation Project Showcase: A pitching session for senior students to present their innovative prototypes and technical solutions to a judging panel.
• Track 2: Community Outreach (School Level):
o Arduino Programming Workshop: An introductory session for school students to learn basic electronics and embedded systems.
o Sustainable Energy Workshop: A session dedicated to teaching green technology and renewable energy concepts.
• Closing & Recognition: A unified ceremony to announce competition winners, distribute awards, and highlight the impact of IEEE Day on the local community.
