Responsible Innovation: Ethics and Standards in a Rapidly Changing Technological AI World
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, in association with the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) Student Branch Chapter and IEEE SRM Student Branch, is organizing a one-day Industry–Academia Conclave on Responsible Innovation.
This conclave aims to bring together academicians, industry experts, researchers, professionals, and students to discuss the ethical, legal, and societal implications of Artificial Intelligence. The event will feature keynote addresses, expert talks, and interactive discussions on Responsible AI, AI Ethics & Governance, Cybersecurity, International Standards, Sustainable Technological Innovation, and Industry–Academia Collaboration.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with distinguished speakers, gain valuable insights into emerging technologies, and expand their professional network.

Prof. Hamidou Tembine is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières, Canada. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, game theory, distributed systems, optimization, and trustworthy AI. He has authored numerous high-impact publications and is internationally recognized for his contributions to AI and intelligent systems.
