Adel Alimi of ReGIM-lab

Biography:

Adel M. Alimi (IEEE Student Member’91, Member’96, Senior Member’00). He graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1990. 
He obtained a PhD and then an HDR both in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 1995 and 2000 respectively.
He is full Professor in Electrical Engineering at the University of Sfax, ENIS, since 2006.
He is founder and director of the research REGIM-Lab. on intelligent Machines.

Prof. Alimi volunteered for several academic, research, and scientific structures and associations:
- REGIM Research Laboratory, University of Sfax, Tunisia.
- University Chair of Innovation (UNCHAIN-Sfax) of the University of Sfax, Tunisia, founder and chair (2010-2011).

Khalil Koubaa of Trends

Biography:

Twenty years ago, Khalil took his first steps in marketing, never imagining that this passion would take him this far.

For 19 years, he grew within the Triki Group, where he led the marketing and sales teams for the modern retail channel. It was a true school of strategy, negotiation, and long-term vision.

Then a new challenge presented itself: the launch of the Mall of Sfax. As Marketing Director, he was responsible for creating the entire launch strategy for one of the country's largest commercial projects. It was an intense year, during which he watched an idea become reality.

But he craved independence. A different way of passing on knowledge. Choosing his own battles.

So, he launched his own strategic marketing consulting firm. Today, he helps companies structure their marketing and sales strategies. He also works one-on-one with individuals looking to launch their businesses, helping them move from idea to action.

At the same time, he teaches Digital Marketing Master's students at ISB and IHEC Sfax. And he organizes open-to-the-public events, such as TRENDS—a unique gathering that demystifies marketing and brings together national and international experts to discuss real business issues.

His driving force? Creating impact. Passing on what he’s learned in the field. And above all: helping everyone build a strategy that truly reflects who they are

Hamza Balloumi of Mouha9i9 +

Biography:

Hamza Belloumi has for several years been at the head of famous TV and radio shows in Tunisia. Currently Producer-Host of two major shows, he alternates between radio and television:

• "les 4 vérités - الحقائق_الأربع", the Sunday night prime-time show on the Al-Hiwar Ettounsi channel

• "Repondez a Hamza - جاوب_حمزة", the major Sunday interview on Mosaique FM radio

Hamza Belloumi is also a trainer and conference speaker. He regularly hosts training sessions and conferences on communication and leadership.

He is at the head of the #Injah platform: a media project that highlights positive and inspiring examples. "injah fi hyatek" is the flagship show of this platform, where Hamza Belloumi welcomes Tunisian success stories every week to inspire youth.

In November 2021, Hamza Belloumi and his team launched a unique application in Tunisia. Tawer is an application for training, inspiration, and book summaries. He also launched the Mouha9i9 + application, which is the premium version of his YouTube channel where he presents exclusive investigations and true crime stories.

Abdelaziz Makhloufi of CHO Group

Biography:

The son of a farmer, deeply imbued with a love for the land and particularly for the olive tree, the CEO and founder of CHO GROUP started out as an olive miller and, 20 years later, built it into one of the most powerful olive oil groups in the world. He achieved this in a fiercely competitive market, notably facing traditional global producers who view the emergence of bottled Tunisian olive oil on the global market and its adoption by consumers as a loss of revenue—something they previously believed was secured forever.

"Until the mid-1990s, Tunisian olive oil remained exported exclusively in bulk and was therefore colonized in the bottles of the world's largest producers. It was time to free it and reconcile it with its origin. And the only way to achieve this was to carve out a place for the 'Made in Tunisia' olive oil bottle in major international retail chains and impose it on the global market," revealed Mr. Abdelaziz Makhloufi. It was by cultivating these principles that the epic of CHO GROUP was born.

Habib Kammoun of IEEE Tunisia Section

Biography:

Habib M. Kammoun (IEEE Senior Member’15) received a PhD degree in computer science from the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, Tunisia. He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Sciences - University of Sfax, Tunisia. Habib is currently the head of the Virtual Education UVT Department at the University of Sfax.
 
Habib is member of the REGIM-Lab. (Research Groups in Intelligent Machines, University of Sfax, Tunisia) and member of the MIR Labs (Machine Intelligence Research Labs, USA). His research interests include soft computing, computational intelligence, intelligent transportation systems, and smart cities. Habib is a program committee member within IEEE conferences and journals.
 
Habib is the past secretary of the IEEE Africa Council, past chair of IEEE Tunisia section, member of the Computational Intelligence Society chapters’ committee, member of the IEEE Nominations and Appointment committee, and volunteer in several other IEEE committees. He organized several IEEE international conferences and he received IEEE awards; recently the 2018 IEEE Region 8 Volunteer Award, 2016 IEEE MGA Outstanding large section award, 2015 IEEE R8 Outstanding large section award, 2014 IEEE R8 Young Professionals Exceptional Volunteer award, and 2013 IEEE Volunteer Leadership Training award.

Madiha Neifar of IEEE Young Professionals Tunisia Section Affinity Group

Biography:

Madiha Neifar is a dynamic professional and community leader whose career seamlessly blends technical expertise with passionate volunteerism. Currently based in Sfax, Tunisia, she plays a dual role at ZETA-BOX, serving as the Quality and Security Management Manager since September 2023 and as the Quality Manager in Charge of Human Resources since February 2025. In these roles, Madiha has been instrumental in implementing robust quality management systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and pioneering information security protocols under ISO 27001:2022. Her strategic approach to developing performance indicators, streamlining HR processes, and managing cybersecurity risks has driven continuous organizational improvement and ensured adherence to international standards.

Before her impactful tenure at ZETA-BOX, Madiha honed her quality management skills at UFM Holding between November 2022 and August 2023, where she led initiatives to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification through meticulous process development, comprehensive quality audits, and targeted employee training sessions.

Madiha's academic background laid a strong foundation for her career; she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information and Communication Technologies and Networks & Telecommunications from the National School of Electronics and Telecommunications (ENET'COM). Her master’s thesis, in collaboration with Fondation Orange Djagora, showcased her innovative use of 3D rendering to visualize vehicular movement, reflecting her early engagement with cutting-edge technology.

Beyond her professional achievements, Madiha is deeply committed to volunteer work. Since 2018, she has been an active member of IEEE, where she has held multiple leadership roles including Vice President of the IEEE Tunisia Section, President of the IEEE PES Tunisia Section for 2023–2024, Chair of the IEEE Africa Council Women in Engineering, Membership Development Coordinator for the IEEE PES R8 Student & Young Professionals Committee, and Co-chair of the IEEE EMBS Student Mentoring Program. Her commitment to service extends further as she contributes to JCI Sakiet Eddaier, currently serving as President, and as a dedicated First Aid Volunteer with the Tunisian Red Crescent.

Cybele Ghanem of IEEE Young Professionals Lebanon Section Affinity Group

Biography:

Cybele Ghanem is an Electrical Engineer from the Lebanese University Faculty of Engineering II Roumieh, specialized in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering. She also holds a Research Master's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, and Cybersecurity.

She is currently a Systems Engineer working in Support and Implementation within the Operations Team at Invigo Offshore. She is also a Red Hat Certified System Administrator.

Cybele was recently chosen as one of the IEEE Computer Society 20 in their 20s honorees, recognized as one of the emerging leaders in Computer Science and Engineering. She was additionally honored with the IEEE MGA Young Professionals Achievement Award, highlighting her leadership in IEEE Day and IEEEXtreme.

Beyond her professional experience, her strong interpersonal skills shine through her extensive volunteer work. She is an active IEEE volunteer, with long-term roles including IEEE MGA Student Activities Committee Vice Chair (Membership), IEEE Computer Society Students and Young Professionals Committee Vice Chair (Communications), IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals Member, and IEEE Young Professionals Lebanon Chairperson. Additionally, she served as Chairperson of the Social Club at her faculty and was her class delegate for 4 years.

She is a Human Rights and Human Dignity advocate, certified by the World Youth Alliance. After completing their Certified Training Program, she was selected to become a trainer herself and is now a Certified Trainer.

Cybele has been consistently praised as hard-working by her professors and peers.
