Design Under Pressure
A fast-paced, coding-based engineering event where teams design and build a technical solution while adapting to unexpected challenges introduced at regular intervals (every 15–30 minutes).
Participants begin with a core problem statement and must progressively modify, optimize, or extend their solution as new constraints and technical roadblocks are revealed.
Each challenge tests their problem-solving ability, coding skills, adaptability, and teamwork under time pressure.
The team that develops the most efficient and innovative solution while successfully overcoming the maximum number of challenges emerges victorious.
The event simulates real-world software development, where requirements constantly evolve and engineers must think on their feet.
Teams are evaluated not only on the correctness and functionality of their solution but also on their efficiency, innovation, code quality, and ability to respond effectively to changing scenarios.
