A drone is a mobile object, also known as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), that can fly without a human pilot on board. It is controlled remotely by an operator or flies autonomously using onboard sensors, GPS, and programmed flight paths. Drones are equipped with components such as propellers, motors, batteries, cameras, and navigation systems. They are widely used for aerial photography, surveillance, mapping, agriculture, search and rescue, package delivery, and infrastructure inspection. Their mobility, precision, and ability to access difficult or dangerous areas make them valuable tools in many industries.
