IEEE Control Systems Society - Italy Chapter Best Young Author Journal Paper Award - 2026
The IEEE Control Systems Society Italy Chapter recognizes distinguished papers by young researchers in the field of control systems through presentation of an Award for the Best Young Author Journal Paper, for papers published in the past two calendar years preceding the
announcement of the award on the following Society Journals:
• IEEE Control Systems Magazine;
• IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control;
• IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology;
• IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems,
• IEEE Control Systems Letters;
• IEEE Open Journal of Control Systems.
Only candidates with the following requisites are eligible for the award:
- The candidate must be a Member of IEEE-CSS Italy Chapter, i.e., an IEEE CSS member with affiliation in Italy.
- The candidate must be 35 years old or younger on January 1st 2025.
- The candidate must be one of the authors of the paper.
The best paper is selected by the IEEE-CSS Italy Awards Committee consisting of 5 IEEE-CSS members nominated by the Chair. In case two or more award candidates of the selected Best Paper have the requisites for eligibility, the prize of 500.00 Euro will be equally shared among them.
The winner of the "IEEE Control Systems Society - Italy Chapter Best Young Author Journal Paper Award - 2026" will be announced during the National Meeting of the "Società Italiana Docenti e Ricercatori in Automatica" (SIDRA) during the national italian congress Automatica.it 2026 on 2026, September 4 at University of Parma, Parma - Italy.
