The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group at R. N. G. Patel Institute of Technology is organizing a National Level Poster Competition themed around Recent Trends in Information Technology. Designed for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars, this offline competition provides a platform to showcase innovative ideas and technical projects through A2-sized physical poster presentations. The event features an initial selection process to select 20 participating teams (2 to 4 members per team), where each team will undergo a 10-minute single-round evaluation consisting of a 7-minute presentation and 3 minutes of Q&A with expert judges. Across six technical tracks—spanning AI, Cybersecurity, Sustainable Engineering, IoT, Healthcare Tech, and Open Innovation—teams will compete for track-wise cash prizes of ₹2,000 for winners and ₹1,000 for runners-up. Registration is open to both IEEE and Non-IEEE members from across the country.

Crucially, the event serves to promote IEEE and the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, raise awareness about the benefits of IEEE and WIE membership among young innovators, and strengthen overall student engagement in technical activities across the country.
