The IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire Career Compass Session - Central Province was organized to provide students with career guidance and awareness of higher education opportunities and diverse career pathways, mainly targeting school students.                                                                                                      On July 24, 2026, the session was successfully conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Prof. E. O. E. Pereira Theatre, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, with 157 students from four schools across the Central Province. The programme included career guidance sessions, motivational talks, interactive discussions, student-led Q&A, and engaging activities focused on higher education, examinations, career planning, and future opportunities.                                                                                                                                                                                  The session encouraged students to openly discuss their academic challenges, explore the opportunities available to them, and make informed decisions about their educational and career pathways. The collaboration between the IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire initiative and the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Peradeniya, powered by IFS, contributed to delivering a meaningful and engaging experience for the participating students.
