Progress in Radar Research 2026
The 2026 Progress in Radar Research (PIRR 2026) workshop will be held on 24th – 25th November 2026, at Adelaide University, North Terrace, Adelaide. We would love for you to attend and present your research.
PIRR 2026 topics include research into any area of radar, tracking or related areas of science or technology. Consistent with the intent of the workshop series, PIRR 2026 welcomes proposals for presentations in areas outside radar which bear on issues faced by radar researchers. Offers of presentations should be made by submitting, by the due date, a one-page abstract by email to PIRR2026@adelaide.edu.au.
Selection will be made by the workshop technical program committee on the basis of the submitted abstract and no formal written paper is required.
This year a short course will be run directly after PIRR, on the 26th-27th November. The presenter is Dr Lorenzo Lo Monte, Chief Scientist TTM Technologies and IEEE AESS President-Elect. This two-day lecture provides a high-level but operationally relevant overview of key EW disciplines, emerging threats, and mission applications across air, land, sea, space, and cyber-enabled battlespaces.
