This seminar introduces phased-array ground infrastructure and its advantages over traditional satellite ground systems. It will explore how a common, software-defined platform can support multiple data products, including space domain awareness, satellite communications and RF signal intelligence. Attendees will gain an overview of the technology, its applications and QSAT’s approach to developing scalable ground capabilities.

Bio:

Rashmi Karanth is Chief Product Officer at QSAT. She has helped shape QSAT from its earliest stage, leading product, technology strategy and transforming its phased-array technology into products for space domain awareness and satellite communications. An executive leader operating at the intersection of technology, strategy and execution, her experience spans aerospace, defence, financial services and advanced manufacturing, including Airbus, Jaguar Land Rover, UK MOD and Westpac. She holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering and a master’s in business information systems from Manchester Business School.
