CHIP QUEST – A Technical Challenge for Future Engineers is a technical event organized to strengthen students' knowledge of semiconductor technology, electronics, and emerging engineering applications through engaging and competitive activities.
The event comprises:
- Tech Quiz covering semiconductors, electronics, and emerging technologies.
- Activity 1 – Semiconductor Application Mapping
- Match semiconductor devices/components with their appropriate engineering applications.
- Provide technical justification based on real-world usage.
- Activity 2 – Technical Crossword Challenge
- Solve a crossword based on semiconductor devices, electronic components, and engineering concepts.
- Insight Talks introducing students to semiconductor technologies and innovation.
Outstanding performers will be shortlisted for an exclusive industry visit, providing exposure to semiconductor industry practices and practical engineering applications.
