The Cybersecurity Fundamentals Bootcamp & CTF Challenge is a beginner-friendly,
hands-on cybersecurity workshop designed to introduce participants to the
fundamentals of ethical hacking and practical cybersecurity.
The event will cover:
 Cybersecurity fundamentals and the current cybersecurity landscape
 Ethical hacking concepts and the hacker mindset
 Introduction to Kali Linux and commonly used cybersecurity tools
 Reconnaissance and enumeration techniques
 Network scanning and basic network analysis using Nmap
 Password security, hashing and common password-related vulnerabilities
 Identification and analysis of phishing attacks
 Real-world cybersecurity breach case studies
 Guided hands-on cybersecurity practical labs
 Introduction to Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges
 Application of AI in cybersecurity
 Cybersecurity career pathways and learning roadmap
The sessions will combine conceptual learning with demonstrations and guided
practical activities so that participants can understand how cybersecurity concepts are
applied in real-world scenarios.
