AI and Cyborg Intelligence Conference & Student Branch Recognition
The IEEE Aguascalientes Section participated in a conference at the UAA South Campus featuring “Artificial Intelligence and Cyborg”, presented by Dr. José Ignacio Castillo.
The conference provided an opportunity to explore topics related to artificial intelligence, cyborg technologies, and their implications for the future of engineering and technology. The activity was coordinated by Dr. Alejandro Román, with the special participation of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE).
As part of the activity, a symbolic presentation of awards was held to recognize the student branches of ITPA (EDINGER) and UAA (SARA). This recognition highlighted the participation and contributions of student branches within the IEEE community.
The activity concluded with a networking coffee break, providing an opportunity for attendees, students, academic representatives, and IEEE volunteers to exchange ideas and strengthen professional connections.
Learning Objectives:
• Explore concepts and applications related to artificial intelligence and cyborg technologies.
• Discuss the impact of emerging technologies on engineering and society.
