“Discussion of the Current Investment Market, the Economy, and other Investment Topics”
January 25, 2011 Section Meeting of IEEE – Panhandle Section
Cattle Call Restaurant, Amarillo

Michael Rebstock, outgoing section chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:56.
14 IEEE Members were in attendance.
Five were guests, one being the speaker.

Guests: Time was taken at the beginning of the meeting to recognize the guests.

Mr. Michael Rebstock reviewed the results of the officers elections and gave a summary of responsibilities. Officers present were introduced.

The floor was turned over to Mr. Brian Byrd who announced the Engineers Banquet in conjunction with TSPE on 2/24.

The floor was turned over to Mr. Jeff Aycock, representing TSPE. My. Aycock discussed the upcoming MathCounts competition and asked for volunteers. He thanked IEEE for out donation to the MathCounts program.

Mr. Kyle West, of Edward Jones Investments, gave a presentation of market projections and investment options, focusing on the merits of Roth IRAs.

Attendees were thanked for their presence and the meeting was adjourned at 8:05.
