Soldering and Rework Techniques Workshop
The Soldering and Rework Techniques Workshop is a practical, hands-on technical training designed to equip students, researchers, engineers, and young professionals with essential skills in electronic component soldering, desoldering, PCB assembly, repair, and rework. Participants will learn proper tool handling, soldering best practices, component replacement, fault correction, safety procedures, and techniques for producing reliable electronic connections.
The workshop is organized by the IEEE Nigeria Section Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) Chapter, in collaboration with the IEEE ESUT EPS Student Branch Chapter and IEEE ESUT IES Student Branch Chapter, with emphasis on developing practical skills relevant to electronics packaging, embedded systems, IoT, hardware development, and electronic system maintenance.
