Topic:

mmWave VNA: Waveguide Calibration

Achieving precise S-parameter measurements at mmWave frequencies requires more than standard calibration techniques. This webinar explores how to maximize accuracy using TRL calibration, manage drift and residual directivity, and apply time-domain gating to reduce reflection ripple. It also addresses the impact of waveguide dispersion on phase measurements, including practical methods for calculating cutoff frequency and designing accurate phase shims. Attendees will leave with clear, actionable guidance for improving measurement confidence in demanding mmWave environments.
