Join us for Session 3 of the Learning & Training Series for the IEEE Global ClimateChain Hackathon 2026, a global initiative bringing together students, researchers, developers, industry professionals, and innovators to explore how Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and emerging technologies can support climate action and sustainability.
This session will focus on Ethics, Responsibility & Good Practices for Climate Innovation, exploring how ethical principles and responsible innovation can guide the development of technology-driven solutions for climate challenges. Participants will examine important considerations including responsible AI, data privacy and governance, transparency, accountability, bias, inclusivity, security, environmental impact, sustainability, and trust when applying AI, blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
The session will also translate these principles into practical good practices for designing climate solutions, helping participants consider sustainability, scalability, measurable impact, stakeholder needs, and long-term value. Participants will gain practical perspectives to help them develop ClimateChain Hackathon projects that are ethical, responsible, trustworthy, sustainable, and capable of delivering meaningful climate impact.

This session will explore Ethics, Responsibility & Good Practices for Climate Innovation, examining how ethical principles and responsible innovation can guide the development of technology-driven climate solutions. The session will address responsible AI, transparency, accountability, data privacy and governance, bias, inclusivity, security, sustainability, and trust, while also highlighting practical good practices for designing climate solutions that are scalable, measurable, and impactful. Participants will gain perspectives to help them develop responsible, trustworthy, sustainable, and effective technology solutions for climate action.
Biography:
Revanth Reddy A. is a technology professional working at Hippocratic AI in the San Francisco Bay Area, with experience spanning artificial intelligence, blockchain, decentralized applications, and emerging digital technologies. He studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has been actively involved with IEEE’s blockchain community for several years.
He currently serves as Chair of the IEEE Silicon Valley Blockchain Group, where he helps bring together practitioners and researchers working across blockchain applications, standards, distributed systems, and related emerging technologies. He has also contributed to the IEEE Blockchain Initiative and the IEEE P2418 Blockchain Working Group.
His recent work includes research on the intersection of AI agents, blockchain, digital payments, security, and autonomous systems, including a 2026 IEEE Blockchain Technical Community publication on stablecoin settlement architectures for AI agents.
For the IEEE Global ClimateChain Hackathon 2026, Revanth brings a strong perspective on how AI, blockchain, security, and responsible technology design can be applied to real-world sustainability challenges.
