An Industrial Visit to BISAG-N (Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-Informatics), Gandhinagar is organized to provide students with practical exposure to geo-informatics, satellite communication, and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies. The visit aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the real-world application of computing and information technology.

The visit is specifically designed to help students understand how computer science and information technology contribute to large-scale spatial and satellite-based systems. Participants will gain insights into the use of advanced computing infrastructure for processing spatial data and the role of communication technologies in handling information received through satellite systems.

During the visit, students will explore real-world applications of geo-informatics and GIS while gaining an understanding of satellite communication, spatial data processing, networking, and data security.
