The IEEE Student Branch, Seshadripuram First Grade College, through its IEEE WIE Affinity Group, is organizing the IEEE Women in Engineering – WIE Program 2026 to encourage and inspire students to explore opportunities in Engineering, Technology, Science, Research, Innovation, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship.

The IEEE Women in Engineering – WIE Program 2026 is designed to inspire students to explore diverse opportunities and possibilities in the fields of engineering, technology, science, research, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

The session will provide participants with valuable perspectives on career opportunities, higher studies, research, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Through interaction with an experienced IEEE WIE leader, students will be encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, an innovative mindset, and a willingness to take on new challenges.

The program also aims to promote awareness of the opportunities available in emerging technological fields and encourage students to actively participate in professional and academic development.

Biography:

Dr. Pushpa C N serves as the Chair of the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, IEEE Bengaluru Section.

Through her association with IEEE Women in Engineering, she contributes towards encouraging and supporting students and professionals in exploring opportunities in engineering, technology, research, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Her engagement with students provides valuable exposure to professional opportunities and encourages them to develop confidence, explore new areas, and actively participate in the technology ecosystem.

She will be interacting with participants as the Resource Person for the IEEE Women in Engineering – WIE Program 2026.
