Topic:

Solar Photovoltaic Systems-Design and Case studies

The event on “Solar Photovoltaic Systems – Design and Case Studies” is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, design procedures, and practical implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The session will begin with an introduction to Solar PV Systems, covering the fundamentals of solar energy conversion, PV modules, system components, and different types of photovoltaic installations. Participants will also gain knowledge of the importance of solar energy in meeting the growing demand for clean, sustainable, and environmentally friendly power generation.

The session will further focus on the design methodology of Solar PV Systems, including system sizing, load assessment, selection of PV modules and inverters, and performance considerations. A detailed case study on the design of a rooftop grid-connected solar PV system will provide practical insights into real-world system planning and implementation. The event will also address the major challenges and future trends in solar photovoltaic technology, including grid integration, energy storage, smart monitoring, improved converter technologies, and emerging innovations. Overall, the event aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications, benefiting students, faculty members, researchers, and professionals interested in renewable energy and sustainable power systems
