Computer Vision: From Images to Intelligent Systems
Exploring How Artificial Intelligence Transforms Visual Data into Intelligent Systems
Computer Vision is transforming the way machines perceive, interpret, and interact with the world. From facial recognition and autonomous systems to medical imaging, robotics, industrial inspection, and intelligent decision-making, advances in Artificial Intelligence are enabling computers to extract meaningful information from visual data and turn it into actionable intelligence. This joint technical session will provide an engaging introduction to the fascinating intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, exploring how machines move from simply processing images to understanding visual information and building intelligent systems. Participants will gain insights into the fundamental concepts behind computer vision, how AI and machine learning are applied to visual data, and how these technologies are being translated into practical solutions across different domains. The session will also provide perspectives on current applications, emerging opportunities, and pathways for students, researchers, and technology enthusiasts interested in developing skills in AI and computer vision.
