Biography:
Rudan Bettelheim graduated from Central London Polytechnic (now University of Westminster) Electrical and Electronic Engineering program in 1979 and started at Motorola East Kilbride Scotland that August as an MCU applications engineer. After 4 years Rudan moved to Motorola Munich Germany as the Micro-component Regional Product Marketing Engineer, and at the beginning of 1990 moved to Motorola Austin with a range of positions from micro chip design, systems engineering, and marketing, through the changes to Freescale and then NXP. For the last few years Rudan was responsible for Smart Home, Buildings, and multi-media solutions before retiring in January 2025.
Rudan’s hobbies and interests include hiking, mountain biking, sailing, home automation, audio and home theater.
