Abstract:

As enterprises rapidly adopt AI-driven automation, cloud-native platforms, DevOps pipelines, and autonomous systems, the traditional cybersecurity perimeter is shifting away from human users toward non-human identities, machine access, APIs, service accounts, and automated workflows.

In many organizations today, non-human identities already outnumber human users by a significant margin. While these identities enable innovation and operational scale, they also introduce new security risks that many enterprises are struggling to manage effectively. Long-lived credentials, unmanaged service accounts, exposed API keys, excessive privileged access, and fragmented secrets management practices are becoming major attack vectors across modern hybrid environments.

This session will provide a practitioner-focused perspective on how large enterprises are adapting their security programs to address these evolving challenges. Drawing from real-world experiences across healthcare, financial services, and large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, the discussion will focus on practical lessons learned from implementing modern privileged access, secrets management, and Zero Trust security strategies.
