A hands-on workshop on ESP32 & IoT was conducted to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the ESP32 DevKit V1 and its applications in IoT. The session covered ESP32 GPIO pins, pinout configuration, serial communication, analog signals, sensors, actuators, and motors.
Participants were guided through Arduino IDE setup, ESP32 board and library installation, board configuration, and connecting the ESP32 to a computer. A practical LED/Blinker project was performed, where participants defined GPIO pins, connected the LED, uploaded the program, and verified the output using the Serial Monitor.
The workshop provided participants with practical exposure to microcontroller programming and basic IoT development.
